That’s how hard I fell for fishing. My grandfather took me out to a lake near his home in VA, I pulled in a bluegill, and from that day forward I wanted to spend every waking moment out on the water. After college, I worked as a marine diesel technician, which gave me the knowledge and skills to maintain and upgrade every boat I’ve owned. Mechanical Obsession, the 4th boat in my ownership portfolio, really showcases the time and attention that I’ve spent refitting and upgrading to make it one of the nicest vessels in its class. I absolutely love taking people out on the water and sharing the experience of reeling in the target species of fish and introduce them to what I, and many others, enjoy so much about the sport. It might even be that once in a lifetime catch that you’ll never forget.
